Food Truck Friday in Central Park – 11:00 A.M. – 9:00 P.M.
Food Truck Friday is always a great event! The theme for June’s Food Truck Friday is Honoring History – Battle of Carthage.
Come and check out all of the GREAT Food and all the Food Trucks. It’s so hard to decide what to eat! While you are there enjoy the entertainment in the park. It is a great way to spend the evening with your family.

Ladies Tea – 10:30 A.M. at the Ranch – Watch for location in event flyer.
Join us for a Ladies Tea in the fashion of the Civil War Era. Tea and cookies will be served. If it is warm, we may serve Iced Tea and Lemonade. The tea will include a program on Music of the Civil War Era, by John Allin. John is a musical history reenactor. Don’t miss this event, you will enjoy it! Hope to see you there!
Sweet Treats Walk – 3:00 P.M. at the Ranch – Presented by the UDC.
The United Daughters of the Confederacy will be presenting a Sweet Treats Walk. Think Old Fashioned Cake Walk but with Sweet Treats! The Sweet Treats Walk will be fun for the entire family! Plan on checking it out!
Period Dance – 7:00 P.M. at the Ranch
The Period Dance will be held at 7:00 p.m. There will be period music and period dances. We invite the public to attend the dance, you need not be dress in period clothing. You will get the chance to learn the dance steps (our musician knows all the steps!) and experience the dance as our ancestors did so many years ago! Young and old alike will have a marvelous time.
During the day, don’t forget to check out the Sutlers for period items. There will also be other vendors and food trucks or you can eat at the Cafe at the Ranch. You can be sure there will be much to see.
Church Service – 10:00 A.M. at the Ranch
You are welcome to join us on Sunday Morning for a church service lead by Pastor Wayne Pease. You will enjoy this outdoor church service among the enlisted men and women from the camps.
Don’t forget to check out the Sutlers and get your period clothing and other items. Other vendors will also be there with items of interest for everyone in the family.
Stop for lunch at one of the Food Trucks or eat at the Ranch Cafe. You will be sure to get some great food.
Come by and see the broom making demonstration done by June Freund and buy a broom while you are there. June’s husband, Mike, will be showcasing blacksmithing work as well.
David Hunt and Dianna Banning will be demonstrating Chuck Wagon Cooking. They will be there with their chuck wagon and a wagon that will demonstrate what a sutler’s wagon would look like. There will also be musicians playing during the event neat their wagons.
